Tenting has been used for over forty years, and it’s the only method which insures complete eradication of all drywood termites from a structure.
If your home or business is infested with drywood termites, under certain circumstances, having your home or building tented and fumigated may be the only successful course of action.
Termite Inspectionprovides tent fumigation services when multiple termite colonies are found in one structure, and where no other method can be effective.
With many years of experience, we provide the following services:
* Termite control
* Termite tent treatment and control
* Termite inspections
* Termite baiting control
* Subterranean Termite treatment
Fumigation is an exact science that requires skill, experience and knowledge to protect you, your family and home, and also anyone else who may come into contact with the materials used during the tenting process.
The process of Tenting follows this sequence:
Checking for signs of a drywood termite infestation
Placement of specialized tarps at strategic places to seal the structure
Dispersion of Fumigant to eliminates termites from cracks and crevices
Allowing 18-24 hours for the fumigant to continue killing the termites
Aerating the structure for at least 6 hours to remove the fumigant
Removal of the tarps from the structure
Testing the air with sensitive gas monitoring equipment to confirm it’s safe to enter
You will probably be able to re-enter on the third day (after 2 nights away)
Termite fumigants do not leave any permanent residue on the structure itself or on your household items.
Our staff are trained experts in this field and have done thousands of fumigations. There are several types of termite treatments, and each has its own advantages. However, in cases where there is no adequate access to the affected areas, tent fumigation is the only option.
That’s it. If you see any sign of termite activity, contact us immediately. We will inspect those areas and decide the best process for eradicating the termites.
