I can still remember the day I hit 294 pounds back in January 2010. In fact, the needle on the scale was a little over but I couldn’t bend low enough to see the exact number. But 294 was close enough for me and it was like a slap in the face.

When it comes to weight loss, it doesn’t matter if carbs or fat is used up. The bottom line on weight loss is how many calories you burn as opposed to how many calories you take in.

Limit the time in front of the TV. Kids spend way too much time at home in front of the TV watching their favorite cartoons or at the computer playing games. When they are at daycare or someone else is providing care they need to do other activities. Some of those activities should be physical play, anything that will get them up and moving around.
